Giunti a Las Vegas i quattro si recano sul tetto dellalbergo in cui risiedono e una volta qui iniziano a bere in onore della loro amicizia. Il mattino seguente gli amici si svegliano intontiti e privi di ricordi della sera precedente e dopo aver riacquistato un minimo di lucidità si accorgono che la stanza dellhotel è totalmente sottosopra e che il loro amico Doug, lo sposo, è scomparso nel nulla; inoltre vi è una tigre nel bagno, e come se non bastasse trovano un neonato a cui dovranno badare. I tre amici si mettono alla disperata ricerca dello sposo per portarlo in tempo al matrimonio. Sebbene la storia abbia una trama semplice, lo schema narrativo e il susseguirsi di colpi di scena e azioni oltremodo demenziali e grottesche rendono il film piacevole e molto divertente.
